A few years ago, watching the COVID-19 pandemic unfold, something shifted for me. I saw how dramatically people's health outcomes were impacted by their underlying metabolic health. Healthy people weren't immune to this new virus, but the difference between how healthy individuals responded to the virus compared to the response from individuals with poor metabolic health was real and impossible to ignore.
There's a phrase that hit me hard around that time: "A healthy person has many wishes. A sick person has just one." That reframing stuck.
It's when "Health is Wealth" stopped being a saying and became a philosophy I actually live by.
I'm Craig — a Chicagoan who's been into health and fitness since I was a kid. Over the last several years I went deep: studying the research, listening to the leading voices in longevity and performance, getting my bloodwork done through Function Health, training at the gym 4–5 times a week, and dialing in my sleep, supplements, and recovery at home and at a local sauna and cold plunge studio.
Along the way I noticed something frustrating: the best health information is out there — but it's scattered across three-hour podcasts, dense research papers, and supplement marketing you can't always trust. Most people don't have time to piece it all together.
I do. And I genuinely love doing it.
